MANUFACTURING PARTNERSHIPS

Built for established products and growing volumes.

Contract manufacturing works best when the product, commercial model and expected supply requirements are sufficiently defined.

Established Brands

Move existing products into a controlled manufacturing environment or add capacity for future growth.

Distributors

Build proprietary ranges with a manufacturing structure capable of supporting recurring commercial demand.

OEM & Strategic Programmes

Develop a manufacturing solution around defined technical, documentation and supply requirements.

Technology Transfer Projects

Transfer an existing formulation or manufacturing process into Infinitec production following technical review and validation.

Discuss Your Manufacturing Requirement
MANUFACTURING SCOPE

More than mixing and filling.

The commercial product is the result of an entire controlled process.

Process

RAW MATERIALS

Verified materials and defined sourcing.

↓

BATCHING

Controlled weighing and manufacturing.

↓

PROCESS CONTROL

Defined sequence, mixing and relevant processing conditions.

↓

QUALITY CONTROL

Batch checks against approved specifications.

↓

FILLING

Transfer into the intended commercial package.

↓

PACKAGING

Closure, labelling and final pack configuration.

↓

RELEASE

Finished goods released according to the agreed quality process.

↓

SUPPLY

Recurring commercial production and shipment planning.

The objective is not simply to produce a batch. It is to reproduce the same commercial product consistently.

EXISTING FORMULATIONS

Already have a formulation?

A contract-manufacturing project does not always begin with product development.

A customer may already have:

  • an internally owned formulation

  • a formulation developed by another partner

  • an established commercial product

  • a technical specification

  • a production process requiring additional capacity

Before manufacturing begins, the formulation and associated process need to be reviewed for technical transfer into the available production environment.

Review Areas

Composition

Can the required raw materials be sourced and handled appropriately?

Process

What addition sequence, mixing conditions and processing requirements matter?

Specification

Which parameters define the approved finished product?

Packaging

Is the existing package compatible with the intended manufacturing and filling process?

Regulatory

Does the existing documentation correspond to the actual formulation and intended markets?

Important Line

Possessing a formula does not automatically make it production-ready in another manufacturing environment.

Discuss a Formula Transfer
TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER

Transfer should be controlled before production begins.

01 Technical Review

Formula, specifications, raw materials and process requirements are assessed.

↓

02 Raw-Material Review

Suppliers, grades, availability and documentation are evaluated.

↓

03 Laboratory Confirmation

Where appropriate, the formulation is reproduced and compared against the existing reference.

↓

04 Scale-Up

The process is translated into commercial manufacturing conditions.

↓

05 Pilot / First Production

Production behaviour, QC and filling are verified.

↓

06 Production Release

The product becomes an active commercial manufacturing item.

The transfer is complete when the product can be reproduced consistently — not simply when the formula has been received.

FROM LAB TO PRODUCTION

500 grams and 500 kilograms are not the same process.

Scale can change the way a formulation behaves.

Relevant differences can include:

  • mixing efficiency

  • shear

  • heat transfer

  • addition time

  • dissolution

  • aeration

  • processing time

  • transfer

  • filling behaviour

A formulation that performs perfectly in a laboratory beaker still needs a reliable commercial production process.

PROCESS KNOWLEDGE

The formulation is only part of the product.

Commercial reproducibility also depends on how the formulation is manufactured.

A controlled manufacturing instruction can define:

  • raw-material sequence

  • addition method

  • mixing time

  • temperature where relevant

  • processing conditions

  • hold time

  • transfer requirements

  • filling considerations

Two manufacturers can possess the same ingredient list and still produce different results if the process is not understood.

BATCH QUALITY

Manufacture against a specification.

The approved commercial product needs defined characteristics against which production can be evaluated.

Depending on the product, controls may include:

  • appearance

  • colour

  • pH

  • viscosity

  • density

  • fragrance

  • other relevant product-specific parameters

Golden Sample

Physical Reference

Where appropriate, the approved Golden Sample provides a physical reference for:

  • appearance

  • fragrance

  • application characteristics

  • other sensory attributes

Batch Retain

Production Reference

A retained sample from a manufactured batch provides a record of what was actually produced.

Golden Sample = approved target.

Batch retain = actual production batch.

FILLING

Manufacturing does not end in the vessel.

The formulation still has to become a finished commercial unit.

Relevant filling considerations can include:

  • viscosity

  • foaming

  • fill accuracy

  • container geometry

  • closure system

  • trigger or pump

  • line speed

  • cleanliness

The technically correct bulk product can still create a poor finished product if filling and packaging are not properly controlled.

FINISHED PRODUCT

Packaging is part of the manufacturing system.

A commercial pack can involve:

  • bottle or container

  • closure

  • trigger or pump

  • label

  • carton

  • pallet configuration

Packaging selection affects compatibility, filling, logistics, purchasing volumes and commercial presentation.

BEFORE THE FIRST RUN

Production begins when the project is ready.

Before first commercial manufacturing, confirm:

FORMULATION

Correct revision identified.

SPECIFICATION

QC parameters defined.

RAW MATERIALS

Materials and grades confirmed.

PACKAGING

Approved components available.

REGULATORY

Required documentation aligned.

ARTWORK

Correct revision approved.

LOGISTICS

Finished pack and shipment structure defined.

Unresolved decisions should not be transferred onto the production floor.

FIRST COMMERCIAL RUN

The first production batch deserves its own review.

The first commercial run verifies the entire manufacturing route — not only the chemistry.

Review:

  • process behaviour

  • batch time

  • QC results

  • filling

  • packaging

  • yield

  • finished unit

  • any deviations

Pilot Production & First Commercial Run
COMMERCIAL SUPPLY

Built for repeatability.

A strong manufacturing relationship becomes increasingly valuable after the first production run.

Recurring supply requires alignment around:

  • forecasts

  • reorder quantities

  • production windows

  • packaging demand

  • raw-material requirements

  • lead times

  • inventory strategy

Predictability improves both supply security and manufacturing efficiency.

GROWTH

The manufacturing model should evolve with volume.

As demand increases, opportunities may include:

  • larger production batches

  • improved procurement

  • optimized packaging

  • longer filling runs

  • automation

  • dedicated production planning

  • international supply structures

The solution that works at 5,000 units per year may not be the right solution at 500,000.

How to Scale a Private Label Product Range
FROM GERMANY TO INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

Manufactured in Germany. Built for international supply.

International projects require coordination between product, packaging, documentation, logistics and market requirements.

The intended markets should therefore be defined early.

Specific market and regulatory requirements are assessed project by project.

MANUFACTURING PARTNERSHIP

Looking for a long-term manufacturing partner?

Tell us what you manufacture today, the formulation or product status, current and expected volumes, packaging requirements and intended markets.

We can then determine whether Infinitec is the right production environment for the project.

Existing formulations, supplier transfers and new product programmes are assessed individually.
